The liger is a hybrid cross between a male Panthera leo (lion), and a female Panthera tigris (Tiger) and is denoted scientifically as Panthera tigris

Ligers grow much larger than lions and even larger than the largest tigers, which can weigh over 500 kg (1100 lb) and well over 4 ft tall at the
shoulder. On average, ligers stand at about 10-12 ft when standing on their hind legs. The largest non-obese Liger, known as Hercules, is said to
weigh over 544kg (1200 lb), [7] over twice the size of a male lion. Hercules was also featured in Maxim magazine article in 2005, when he was only 3years old and already weighed 408 kg (900 lb) at the time. The liger is the largest animal in the cat family (feline family Felidae).[8][9]
Yea they are pretty cool animals. Although if I rember right due to there size they almost all have to be put down due to medical problems that can
come up later in there life. Personally I rather see more work/money being put into rebuilding the tiger population instead of creating a new
species......
well this was created by accident, but i agree. i think the asiatic lion needs attention too. i have a family friend who is traveling to india and
bangladesh in a few months to see tigers, should be sick.
I bet those things just don't live very long, like bean...sorta of. I wonder what kinda of tricks they do for those guys magic show. What if it
really could do magic?
i read they live half as long as captive lions or tigers, so bout 12-15 years prolly. imagine a liger tryin ta eat ya alive while yur in yur house,
bustin down walls and all!!! a fuckn liger could prolly toss your old car around gavin!
