New IRC bot in development
Join the chat room and check it out. Nothing super fancy right now.
You can type !random to get a random quote, fact, definition, something silly.
And you can type !lastPost to see the last forum post.
It also alerts of new forums posts as they happen.
And !rss will show the last entry of that rss feed
Obviously lots more coming, but this is a good start ^.^

Progress has continued. I have solved many of the known bugs (there is still one with the say command when given over PM).
I have also added:
!seen [username] to say when the user last joined or exited
After I fix a few bugs, and implement some of the safety features the current bot has, I plan to replace him with this new one. Maybe another couple
weeks away from that though.
