-->Sweat Lodge<--

This years camping season is coming to an end, but in hopes of making the next year better than the last I have a question for any and all SpicyLemons members who like to camp. Would anyone be interested in participating in a "B.BUD.D." sweat lodge next spring? I know its a long ways off but something like this with a larger group of people can take a fair amount of time to orginize. Unfortunately it is the kind of thing that you have to live in the right area or travel for in order to participate... but oh well. I would like to make the trip atleast a three day event (dont have to have a sweat lodge each day though). Rocky Mtn. National Forest has some great locations for this type of thing and for most of the colorado pep's it would be kinda central. I plan to do this either way but I hoped some ya'll would be interested as well.

Oh, it would be "special" smoke for atleast one day too... because thats the kind of guy I am and I really want to try out an old scythian *sp technique that I have read about.

P.S. GAVIN if you dont make it for this I will hang you by your nut sac and feed you to the squirels!

Chris, STFU! "Roosevelt National Forest" then buddy! A sweat lodge is a "semi" spiritual event practiced by many cultures throughout the world and over thousands of years. It involves a large communal tent placed on top of a well developed fire that has been worked into coals and has large stones (igneous) placed on top of the coals. Its essentially a super hot suana. The goal is to stay in the tent until you have a vision.

Sounds interesting.... I don't know about the vision part but whatever, sounds like it could be cool. I think we better figure out a way to make a canvas tent then

You can't mess with this steez.

Sweet, I'd be up for a vision quest.
