SSL for the paranoid

I have setup SSL for all the functions of the domain den.spicylemons.com.....that means that if you want to be extra paranoid you can now encrypt all traffic with the forum. This not only protects your login information but it makes it so no one knows what your looking at, reading, or posting....it is a very secure method of communication. The following URLS for the den are now available in encrypted form:
https://den.spicylemons.com
https://denos.spicylemons.com
https://chat.spicylemons.com
https://soulbay.spicylemons.com

Not that if you want to use the SSL encryption you must manually enter in the https instead of the normal http.....if you continue to access this site via http your communications will not be encrypted and it is possible for a third party to read the information that you are accessing and submitting to the site.

Personally.....encryption is a right....you have a right to privacy....Governments everyday are trying to limit peoples rights to encrypt the data they access. Exercise your right, protect yourself and your data.....and encrypt everything you can.

In case you were getting SSL certificate warnings before those should not be fixed. It will still ask you to accept the certificate (it always does that)....but the certificate should be valid and you should not get further security warnings now.

if your seeing a lock with a slash through it....this is telling you that not all the data on the page is being encrypted with SSL. The reason for this is currently I have no way to pass the ads displayed on the page through SSL. It is nothing to worry about, and everything besides the ads is currently being passed through the encrypted data path.
