Sexy Screenshot
NOTE** that most these images have been moved to a less stable server. The reason for this being is to prevent this large thread from
creating any slow downs of our main server. If the images on this thread are not loading then try again in 5min, sometimes the server they are stored
on is not 100% stable
Got my computer back into linux. And I just had to share a screen shot now that that I got it looking pretty. The background on the comand terminal
on the right scrolls with the text. On the far right we have gkrellm with all my system information, including cpu usage, disk access, GPU
temprature, eth access, the whole works. Got instant messanger in the bottom right, and xmms playing some velvet under ground on the top left.
Just had to share, one of my sexier designs in a while (imo). The canyon on the dual screen is just beautiful.
p.s. all you windows folk may notice there is no start menu, and no icons. The Fluxbox menu helps show the linx where the screens split, but can be
accessed from anywhere on the screen.

Got counter strike working semi-good.....here are some screenshots from linux. I normally have it covered the whole left screen, but I wanted to put
it in the center as to make it seem more legit (not that this has not been done before).

Here is my average netgraph...This is again average FPS....I have peaks as high as around 55 to 57....while staying most stable (in most maps) in the
mid 40's. Although on simpler maps like blazin I can get 70 to 90 fps. And on AIM_SHADES I can get 90 to 120fps. Which is FAR greater I was
getting in windows (i was peaking at 70frames and sitting around 60frames). Although I must admin that windows was FAR more stable (of course since
it was designed for it).
And there are still lots of quarks I need to figure out. Like when I try to change teh quality settings the game crashes. And my flashlight does not
work. And you can't adjust gama settings (crashes the system on exit of the game). I will see if I can do them one at a time at a later date.
But still figured you guys might like to see how I am doing with the counter strike linux venture.
p.s. this is the first windows game I have done in linux, have done other windows software though.

looks good man, I never used Fluxbox (assuming thats the window manager). I used to use WindowMaker but now Im mostly a Windows user for every day
stuff, it has definately improved since win95/98, although your screenshot makes me want to boot up linux :) |

Got a new screenshot for you....Just formated, adjusted my raid 0 array, and upgraded to core 6. I got a new screenshot, although I am not very proud
of this one. For some reason I just have not been too pleased with the way this all looks, so if it does not grow on me soon you can expect a new
screenshot in the not too distant future ;-)

OMG SO SEXY. Last night I went ahead and removed fluxbox as my WM (window manager). Instead I am now running Xfce with Beryl. It allows me to have
an intense 3d environment. It is hard to explain without showing you. I wanted to do a video capture and show you video of it in action, but with
the dual head it was just too much. So all I unfortunately have for you today is a screenshot. Also this screenshot really deserves full resolution
to appreciate. So click on the image bellow to see the full resolution image:

It is EXTREAMLY easy to work on. Infact I find I am much more efficent with it. It is only 3d when you want it to be, otherwise you just snap it
like a normal desktop. But it makes it very very fast and efficent to go through a lot of programs you have open. The more I use it the more I like
it too. You kind of have to see it in action to truly understand how it all works. But once you see what is going on it is just like OMG.....the
future of the GUI is now fellas.....and your left in the digital dust with your already outdated vista :-p
p.s. Intresting note on this compared to vista......even though it has so many transparencys and shit it runs more efficently and smoothly than any
version of vista I have had a chance to use yet. The reason is because beryl puts all the load on the video card and not the computer, and since you
barely use your video card while in the desktop it has plenty of extra resources.
